Sunday Club Rides 2016:
Whatever your level of fitness or confidence, we’ve got a ride for you.
We are pleased to announce we are working in partnership with the Trek Store MK to promote joint club rides to the local community. Our Sunday rides are guided by friendly volunteers along planned road routes. We have launched different riding groups and classifications, as you will see from the below there is something for everyone – whether you’re building your confidence or already comfortable on a bike and looking for a new challenge.
This inclusive cycling club engages all members of the community through a range of cycling activities and fundraising that continually supports the SET charity. The SET Cycle Club is for any cyclist passionate about riding, or enjoys the culture of cycling while helping to support a local charity.
On the ground the cycle club is delivered by a team of volunteers and existing MK Dons Sport and Education Trust staff who make cycling activities accessible to all across areas of MK and beyond. The Club has Sunday road cycle sessions by engaging and offering the local community and Dons fans to Get SET and start cycling. The SET Cycle Club is an opportunity to create a unique cycling initiative using the power of football to help deliver and make a tangible impact in the local Milton Keynes community.
The Club has 2 new Sunday group rides planned in 2016.
All groups leave Stadium MK at 9:00am except due to poor weather or lead rider availability:
Please check in advance of attending rides via the SET CC Twitter: @SETCycleClub.
A Ride - 17 – 19 mph average 50+ miles.
B Ride – 15-16mph average up to 30-40miles (approx.)
