MK Dons Sport and Education Trust aims to provide sporting opportunities for females in and around the local area. This includes developing elite football talent within the MK Dons Girls Centre of Excellence (U9-U17) and Ladies squads (16+), working with local clubs and teams, running Girls only Skills Centre’s and Holiday courses and working with other partners/organisations to improve and promote female sport for all, in a fun and safe environment.
The Female Player Pathway
MK Dons SET have demonstrated their commitment to Girls and Women’s football in the past few years with the establishment and development of a specific Female Football Development team. Running alongside the regular community and development opportunities SET offer are the ‘Girls Only’ activities, which feed into the various levels of the MK Dons SET female player pathway.
Each activity is another step on the player pathway and allows female players of all ages and abilities to get involved in the game and to fulfill their potential at whatever level is appropriate for them. (See the player pathway diagram below)
The SET female player pathway is designed to meet the needs of the local players and to support the FA’s female player pathway. (see blue diagram below)
MK Dons Sport and Education Trust have a wide variety of courses and experiences to match all ages, abilities and schedules.
