About MK Dons FC Women:

MK Dons Ladies were formed in summer 2009 as part of MK Dons and MK Dons SET’s commitment to football for all. As part of this commitment they also quickly added a youth setup and formed one of the Girls Centre Of Excellence’s and now Regional Talent Club. We are one of only 30 RTC’s in the country allowing us to have a steady flow of talented players coming through the youth.

In the 9 years the first Team has grown rapidly through the years and has won 4 county cup Trophies in that time 3 of those being successive. They will look to continue this cup success as they have reached another County Cup final to be played 2nd May.

Through continuous development and commitment, the Ladies won the FA’s Women’s Premier League South East Division One in 2018 and secured promotion to the FA Women's National League - Southern Premier. With this rapid growth also came huge support from the club behind the scenes to give the ladies the best platform possible t increase awareness of female football and grow this within Milton Keynes by holding a game in the Men’s First Team Stadium each season. As part of this ongoing commitment this season has seen the First Team share the Men’s first team stadium for home games, one of the first teams to do this.

MK Dons Ladies have also created the opportunity for ladies to develop, in the development squad who currently compete in the Women’s Premier League Reserve Southern Division. This is a great step for the ladies to gain experience and confidence to then step up to the Ladies 1st team.

The recent history has seen MK Dons Ladies develop a brand of football which is used throughout the setup and in the line with the Male philosophy too.
