MK Dons SET are delighted to announce that Ampthill Town Football Club will be a partner of the Sports & Education Trust for the 18/19 season.

Building on the successes of last year, MK Dons SET under 18’s will take part in two competitions across the season. With Ampthill Town hosting the club for home games in the Southern Counties Youth Floodlit League during the week.

Speaking about the partnership and the season ahead, Jack Sharp head coach of the under 18’s said.

“To be able to secure a facility of such quality for our elite programme is fantastic, I can’t thank everyone at Ampthill Town FC enough. This partnership provides our under 18’s the opportunity to compete in a highly competitive mid-week league with facilities to match the standard of football. The success the team had last season has led to our younger age groups to follow in our footsteps playing competitive football each week. We hope to continue to lead by example and provide an environment where our players continue to develop.”

Gary Maidment, chairman of Ampthill Town FC said,

“After a lot of hard work over the last two years we are proud to be able to invite MK Dons SET to share our new facilities. We look forward to a successful partnership and season for both the young Dons and Ampthill Town FC.”
