SET Summer Activities

Fri 21 Jul 2017 - posted by Jack Pacey

The Legacy department will be running touch and tag rugby activities across Milton Keynes as part of their Posts in the Park programme. This see’s the Legacy Project host activities at all 10 locations in which Rugby posts were erected in MK, and in partnership with the parish councils they belong to we offer open sessions children and young people to join. The sessions are open to children and young people up to the age of 18, and all abilities are welcomed. Whether you are a regular rugby player or have never picked up a ball, these sessions look to engage whoever is attending in fun and sociable tag and touch rugby games.

Like last year, we have teamed up with the Milton Keynes Play Association, and will be collaborating with them at a number of sessions. The MKPA offer a host of things to do including bouncy castles, obstacle courses and arts and craft.

The Community Delivery department will be running football activities across MK and will be utilising their crop of experienced coaches to engage the community. The sessions are aimed at 4-14 year olds and again are open to all abilities.
