Concept Clean throws its support behind girls football in Milton Keynes

ree

Female football enthusiasts in Milton Keynes dreaming of one day becoming the next Chloe Kelly have been backed by a city-based cleaning company that has provided branded kit.

Concept Clean teamed up with MK Dons Community Trust – the football club’s official charity – in support of its girls pathway programmes.

Delivered to more than 190 female football enthusiasts, the pathway provides regular training and playing opportunities while helping young players develop their skills on the pitch and build confidence off it.

Concept Clean’s support enabled the Trust to provide players with branded training and playing kit while representing the Dons badge to elevate their pathway experience.

Dene Walsh, Head of Community Football at MK Dons Community Trust, said: “Providing a quality playing experience to participants on our boys and girls pathway programmes is critical.

“Not only is it an important period to enhance their progress on the pitch, but also an opportunity to develop key skills which can be applied later in the real world such as teamwork, communication and problem solving.

“The support of Concept Clean in the last two years has contributed significantly to providing that professional touch, with sponsored training kit and match shirts making participants feel highly valued when they lace up their boots.

“We’ve witnessed interest in football among young girls skyrocket in recent years, helped by an increased focus on the women’s game through widespread media coverage and success stories on the pitch.

“Concept Clean has played an important role in this development in Milton Keynes, and we thank the team for their support.”

Based in Milton Keynes but operating across Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, London, Cambridgeshire and Essex, Concept Clean is an experienced and multi-skilled specialist cleaning company.

Its commercial services include window, gutter, building, office, high level and communal area cleaning plus pressure washing and grounds maintenance. The team also deliver home window cleaning services, plus driveway, patio, roof and moss removal.

Simon Dodson, Managing Director at Concept Clean, added: “We’re so pleased to see women’s football thriving across the UK and locally here in Milton Keynes.

“We know through our own work that strong foundations are critical to establish stability and security.

“Many of our employees’ daughters have been inspired by the Lionesses’ recent success at the European Championships, so helping MK Dons Community Trust and its work to develop the next generation was something we were keen to support.”
