MK Dons launch FREE Kellogg’s Football Camp spaces this summer

Parents of sports mad youngsters in Milton Keynes are being encouraged to take advantage of free Kellogg’s Football Camp spaces across the city this summer for boys and girls.
MK Dons Community Trust – the football club’s official charity – has teamed up with cereal giants Kellogg’s to offer each household free spaces at its Kellogg’s Football Camps which kick-off on Monday, July 20.
Open to children of all playing abilities aged five to 14, the camps are delivered at Tattenhoe Sports Pavilion on weekdays until Friday, August 21, and teach skill development and help participants learn key qualities which can be applied on and off the pitch.
Sessions are managed by the Trust’s team of FA qualified coaches who prioritise fun and enjoyment with club mascots Mooie and Donny plus members of the Dons’ first-team squad regularly dropping by.
Families can claim up to two free spaces per household by purchasing a pack of Kellogg’s cereal and scanning a QR code which will direct them to their nearest football camp.
Hannah Bladen, Head of Community Development at MK Dons Community Trust, said: “Our partnership with Kellogg’s is fantastic news for families planning how to keep their children entertained this summer.
“Holiday camps have been at the heart of our delivery at the Trust since we were established as a charity more than 20 years ago.
“Not only does it fund our wider community work and outcomes, but also serves a genuine purpose to our city’s younger generation by keeping them fit, active and engaged during the school holidays.
“This year will be no different, with a bumper programme of fun activities planned for participants of all abilities and experience levels.
“We’re delighted to offer two free spaces to every household in Milton Keynes and our city’s surrounds with the help of Kellogg’s, and hope this will ease the financial stress some families might face during the holidays when they are likely to encounter increases to the cost of living.
“Booking a free space couldn’t be simpler, so we encourage everyone to take advantage of this offer while it’s available.”
Last summer, families across the UK claimed 80,000 free spaces through Kellogg’s’ offer.
Each household can claim two free Kellogg’s Football Camp spaces between now and Friday, August 21.
Children are required to bring shinpads, a water bottle, boots, lunch and appropriate clothing for physical activity.
Free spaces can be booked via www.officialsoccerschools.co.uk/mkdons/courses.html.
